How often should I train with my personal trainer?

It depends on how self-motivated you are and whether you are participating in any other forms of exercise. It is ideal if you have your trainer with you every time you workout, however, this is not always possible. If you only want one session a week with us, that’s fine. We will write you a program that you can follow on your own in between sessions if that’s what you want. Alternatively we are available seven days a week to train you every day.

How soon will I see results?

Usually our clients start to feel more energized and confident after the first few sessions, as well as having increased self esteem. The time it takes to see visible results depends on a number of things….how often you train, what you eat, your body type and your initial level of fitness. We will always ensure that your expectations are realistic.

Where can we work out?

You can come to our studio in Kingsteignton where you can exercise in a private, non intimidating evironment. If the weather is good and you feel comfortable exercising outside, we may also take you out to a local park or sports field.

What about nutritional advice?

What you eat and drink is just as important as how you exercise, especially if you are trying to lose weight or reach your potential in your chosen sport. I can’t control your eating habits or your lifestyle, but I can guide you. However, if you are not mindful of the choices you make in between training your results will take longer to see and feel. We can offer you advice on how best to maximize your performance or weight loss by following a healthy eating plan. If you want we will sit down with you and go through healthy options for every meal, every day of the week.

How do I get started?

Just give us a call or send us an email. We will call you to arrange your free consultation. This initial meeting is a chance for us to find out a little bit more about each other. There is no pressure to book any sessions during this consultation, unless of course, you are keen to get started!! If you are then we will ask you a few questions about your present activity level and your likes and dislikes regarding exercise. We will go over what you hope to achieve fitness wise and ask a few health/medical related questions.

What is your cancellation policy?

For Personal Training sessions we require 12 hours notice for cancellation.
For classes it’s 6 hours notice.
